About Dana Renee:
By day, I am a lawyer and editor living in Maryland, with a passion for fashion and a love of jewelry-making. I also blog, take pictures, write poetry, and cook.
After graduating with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Political Science, it was a toss-up between fashion school and law school. Since I didn’t want to become the real-life version of Legally Blonde, I chose to pursue law first. As my official job at the moment, I do freelance legal editing. But my walk-in closet and countless pairs of shoes prove that fashion still runs through my veins.
In 2010, I married the love of my life, who is ironically also named Dana. We recently relocated from our Washington, DC apartment into our first house in a Baltimore suburb.
Over the last seven years, I have been diagnosed with a number of chronic illnesses. This meant (and still means) a lot of time spent bored and at home while I take care of my body. So instead of whining as much as I felt like I needed to, I began diving into my hobbies -- fashion, crafting, cooking, and decorating.
Dana Renee {Style} is the culmination of these hobbies. This blog encompasses my adventures in fashion and my take on a wonderful lifestyle. I am always open to suggestions and feedback. If there is something you would like to see featured let me know. I love hearing from you!
